The Scoop Link Party #102

Happy Scoop day, everyone!  I so appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedule to come inspire and be inspired each and every week.

Today was a gorgeous day here in North Carolina, but we’re bracing for much colder temps and the possibility of snow later this week.  Better stock up on milk and bread!  lol  In case don’t know it already, the mere mention of the “S” (snow) word here in North Carolina is enough to send us all stampeding to the grocery store!

Did you catch the Cozy Home Tours last week?  I was part of a group of 25 bloggers who shared some of their ideas for creating a cozy home.

My post was all about my cozy spot and little winter vignette that I put together.  You can read it HERE.

A cozy spot and a winter vignette

Last week I also talking about moving beyond the world of plastic bins and baskets when it comes to choosing style organizing products for your home.  Click HERE to read all about it.

Let’s get on with the party!

==================================================

Hi Everyone!

 Welcome to…

THE SCOOP #102

I’m your co-host YVONNE AT STONEGABLE

The bucolic farmland of Lancaster Co. has been hit hard by old man winter! It’s been  very blustery and COLD so far… making it a great time to work on indoor projects!

I’m keeping things toasty and warm and spending time working around the farmhouse! Here is what you can expect at StoneGable this week!

Remember my front door is always open to friends old… and new!

I’m so happy to introduce our guest host for this week… Shanna from Restoration Redoux.

Besides being the queen of all things redo-ux, she is the host of the fabulous THROWBACK THURSDAY! A linky party that lets bloggers dust off and strut the best of their past posts. What a good way to see the creative oldies but goodies!

Hi Everyone! I’m Shanna from Restoration Redoux!

I’m so excited to be hosting The Scoop!I’m a stay at home mom to three dogs, a cat, and a crazy teenage daughter. When I’m not chasing after my animals (or a house full of teenagers) you can find me running a furniture business from home. I’m a lover of yard sales, painting furniture, cooking, crafting, and animals. Here are a few of my recent projects!

There were some wonderful links to last week’s Scoop, which made it so hard to pick which projects to feature. Since I’m a furniture girl, there were a couple of stand-outs that I had to show you:

The Perfect Red Vintage Dresser from Number Fifty-Three is just that, perfect.

This Valentine Dessert from Creative and Delicious would be the perfect dish to serve your sweetie on Valentine’s Day.
