Now that I’ve finished with my dining room makeover (the full before and after reveal is coming this Wednesday!), I’m ready to move on to my office. I’m uber excited to get started in this room as it is one of the first rooms that you see as you enter our beautiful home. It used to be the former owner’s living room, so it’s located right off of our foyer.
I’m going for a rustic, farmhouse, slightly industrial, slightly masculine look in our office. Wow! I love a lot of those items. My office is right in our family room, beside the sliding door to our deck. There is a lot of foot traffic in and out of that door because it is the one used to access the pool area, plus a lot of people just come up to it when visiting. My desk, file cabinet/copy stand, and storage cupboard is looking pretty worn out – it’s one of those sets you build from kits and they’re just not made to last. I’m looking forward to your dining room reveal tomorrow, plus seeing your new office.
Hi Jen. Our office is the pass through from our foyer to the dining room and into one end of the kitchen so has a lot of through traffic too. It’s been an eyesore of a space for a while, but I’m hoping to take care of that!
