I’m so excited for this day!  I’m joining over thirty of your favorite bloggers who are all bringing you our fall home tours.  So much amazing inspiration all in one place!  If you’re joining me from My Life From Home, then welcome!  Isn’t Amy’s fall decor amazing?!?

Our tours are sponsored by Kirkland’s and to make it even more fabulous, they are giving one lucky winner a $1500 Kirkland’s gift card!  Wowza!!!  Be sure to read all the way to the bottom of the post to enter.  Each one of us was able to choose a few things from Kirkland’s to decorate our homes with and boy was it hard for me to choose something!  Kirkland’s has such a wide variety of decor, both seasonal and non-seasonal, and at such affordable prices – I wanted one of everything when I was shopping on their website.  😀

Once I walked into my local Kirkland’s store though, I spotted exactly what my family room needed – a gorgeous, chunky floor lamp!  The color of the base and the burlap shade totally completes this little corner beside the fireplace in my family room.

The addition of a gray and burnt orange patterned pillow and a burnt orange velvet pillow make this little spot super cozy for curling up with a good book!  I even love the mix of the deep orange and various shades of blue that are in my family room.

My fireplace sports another piece that came from Kirkland’s – the Wood Grand Entrance Plaque, , but sadly it’s no longer available.  It’s quite the statement piece and is just what my fireplace needs above the mantel in this two story room.  If you’re interested in getting one, don’t worry if it isn’t the color that you want – it can be painted, which is what I did to mine.

If you’re already familiar with my home, you’ll notice that I switched out the gray shutters that are normally on my mantel for some wood toned ones that I picked up at a thrift shop.  Another thrifty find is the large basket that I’ve angled and filled with fabulous fall pumpkins and a few faux fall colored leaves.  A large grapevine wreath covered with a pip berry garland graces the plaque and ties in with the rest of rich russet autumn colors.

On the opposite side of the room, I kept the fall decorations on my coffee table super simple and I love it this way!  I didn’t make any changes to the gallery wall, but I did add a lantern filled with fall colored candles and a strand of chunky beads to the little stool table to the right of the sofa.  I kept the end table on the other side simple by just adding one little pumpkin.

I want to show you one more purchase that I made from Kirkland’s and that’s the pillow that is partially hidden by the berry twigs on the coffee table.  It’s their Autumn Greetings Burlap Pillow and it just makes the assortment of fall pillows on my sofa.  I can’t decide whether to keep here or on the bench in my breakfast room!

Our family room opens into our kitchen and breakfast room, so I always try to make sure that I tie the two spaces together with my seasonal decorations.  This year, I used some favorite plaid plates on the shelves in my breakfast room and used the same rich fall colors that I’ve added to my family room.  Click HERE if you’d like to take a closer look.

  4. Suzy, you always know how to pull a room together. The mantle and the T.V. bookcase just pair so well. Love all the touches of fall throughout for a wonderful seasonal feel. Happy to be on the tour with you.

  5. Your Kirkland additions to your home are perfect. I love the lamp and could really use one like it. The burlap Autumn Greetings pillow is another favorite of mine. . Everything is lovely.

  6. I love the

Dylan Caribbean Accent Chair! I would love a pair of these. Great price, too!

  7. Lovely, lovely lovely! You did a great job, Suzy! I like the long pillow where it is on the couch. It seems like it might be apt to slip around on the bench.

I also love your couch. Would you be willing to tell me where you got it? It is my absolute favorite style of couch and I love the color, too.

Nice post, Suzy. I loved looking at all your beautiful fall decor!

    1. Hi Naomi. I ordered the couch several years ago from a local furniture store, I believe the brand is Mitchell Gold. The fabric that you see on it isn’t the original. It’s a sort of gray/beige microsuede and it wears like iron! I’m sorry, but I don’t know the maker of the fabric.

      1. Thanks for your reply, Suzy. One of the reasons I asked about your couch and where you got it is that I have a beautiful velvety taupe slipcover that I ordered for my Ikea couch and the slipcover doesn’t fit. I knew it wasn’t made for the Ikea couch but it is the same style so I tho’t it might work. Alas, it didn’t! The slipcover is actually made to fit a couch called the Friday Couch which was sold by JC Penney. I would so like to unload that slipcover! It’s so beautiful I hate for it to be not used. I think I bought it on Ebay and it wasn’t terribly expensive–about $100. I think. So if you know anybody who has that couch, which I don’t even know if they sell it anymore, you can pass this info on to them. I won’t hold my breath!

  8. Your home is always so pretty! I appreciate your great giveaways 🙂

    Fall decorations are beautiful.

  10. Ok, I know that there is a trend away from traditional Fall colors (teal pumpkins, etc.) but I happen to LOVE the traditional jewel colors and was so HAPPY to see that you kept to earth tones and traditional colors in your home!! I LOVE the warm feeling that I get when I saw your home! I am also wondering if you have done anything for your bathroom or MBA?? I know the tours usually only show the main living areas, but I am also looking for ideas for bed and baths.
    Thanks so much for sharing!

    1. Hi Constance. Glad to find a fellow traditional fall colors lover! No, I didn’t do anything in our master bath or bedroom as we’re still in remodeling mode at our house and those rooms aren’t ready to post pictures of.
