Happy Friday, everyone!
I hope you’ve all had a glorious week.
Let’s cap it off by snooping around Laura’s home of Top This Top That.
Enjoy!

Hi there! Welcome to my house tour at Top This Top That. I didn’t want to pass up Suzy’s invitation to show you around, but truth be told I have a million projects going on in the house right now, so please excuse the mess.
Like my Masterbath getting a new color change.
or painting cabinets in the breakfast area- it was just a matter of time.
Yes, never a dull moment in my house and aside from the inside projects there are 25 acres, 2 donkeys, 1 mule, 3 dogs, 2 cats ,6 fish, 3 kids and 1 husband that need attention as well. But I love my life and the home that I have created and want to share a few rooms that aren’t currently half painted or a disaster from the kids.
The hub of our home is our family room where you will find us most days and nights.
When not painting, reading or watching Jerry Springer you will find me in my kitchen. You can see more of the kitchen here .
Or here in my ‘Mom Zone’ aka Keeping Room. This is actually one of my favorite rooms in the house. I the love calmness, simplicity and the light that fills the space.
When business like paying the dreaded bills or when writing a blog posts occurs you will find me in my office. This room was actually just finished at the end of year and I will be sharing all of the details in a few weeks at Top This Top That.
Although I love the spirit, the colors and decor that goes on inside the house we are bigger fans of the outdoors and everything nature, that is the primary reason we chose to purchase land in the middle of the country right smack in the middle of nowhere USA and build our home. A place where the kids can run free, appreciate the outdoors and aside from raising our 2 donkeys, 1 mule, 3 dogs, 2 cats, 6 fish, there’s the countless other little critters that just come with the territory.
Ahh…… Country Life at it’s best! Thanks for letting me share my home. I would love for you to stop by anytime!

I can’t believe I am going to say this, but snooping around Laura’s place makes me wish I had an outhouse. Never thought I’d utter those words, and I better now tell my husband either.
I sometimes get crackpot ideas based on photos I see in magazines or blogs. Like, wouldn’t it be fun to have a horse? Or sheep ala the Beekman Boys?
Wonder what our homeowner’s association would say to an outhouse?
Hey Suzy and Laura!
Thanks for the peek at some more rooms, even those under progress! The newly painted family room turned out great. Was that really an outhouse because I didn’t see the half moon on its door!!!
It’s official. I’m moving in with Laura. LOVE this house and love her!
Oh, I just love Laura. And I love Laura’s home. And I love Laura. And I can’t wait to see more of that glam office space of her!
🙂 Linda
