This is such a super easy recipe, that I almost didn’t think it worthy of a blog post, but I have been enjoying it so much, I wanted to share it with all of you!

Today I’m joining some of my blogging friends who are also sharing their delicious summer drink recipes! Did you check out the recipe for Limoncello Vodka Collins from Sincerely Marie Designs? Oh my, does it ever look yummy! You’ll find links for everyone else’s summer sips recipes down below.

Let me fill you in on the origin of the recipe for Pomegranate Lemonade. A couple of years ago, my husband and I joined my daughter, husband and granddaughters on a family honeymoon trip to Disney World. My daughter and son-in-law got married right here at Worthing Court and you can read all about that very special weekend right HERE.

It was while at Disney World that I was first served the refreshing Pomegranate Lemonade.  Oh me – so yummy!  I immediately came home to look for some at my grocery store, but it isn’t to be found anywhere.  In fact, a Google search for Pomegranate Lemonade didn’t yield any results for who might make it.

I’m guessing that Disney has cornered the market for this yummy treat.  So….I decided to see if I could replicate what I had enjoyed so much during the week we spent at Disney.

Aside from the great taste, the many health benefits of pomegranate juice make this deliciously refreshing drink even better:

  • pomegranates contain higher levels of antioxidants than most other fruit juices
  • the juice of a single pomegranate contains more than 40% of the daily recommended amount of vitamin C
  • cancer researchers have found that it may stop the growth of prostate cancer cells
  • it can help improve digestion
  • pomegranate juice is a powerful anti-inflammatory

I could go on and on about the health benefits, but I’m sure you get the picture!

This sounds delicious & refreshing! I can’t wait to try it!

  10. I would replace the 1 Package Sugar Free Powdered Instant Lemonade Mix with plain stevia and organic lemon juice. Even plain lemonade is delicious this way. We try to not use any chemicals or artificial sweeteners in our home, just real food.

  11. So glad to get this recipe. I’m ready for lemonade season!

  12. Hmmm…may have to try this recipe!

  13. That recipe is SO easy! I’m going to try it this coming weekend with my fam. 🙂

That is so fun that you got to do a family honeymoon. Did you get to watch the kids so the newlyweds could have alone time? So fun!

I was in FL and D-world at the end of March-beginning of April (as you know, I was on vacation) :-). It was very fun. But the most fun I had was shopping at the antique stores in the retirement community where my extended fam lives. GREAT deals, and I was glad I took an empty carry to return home with… full of course! 😉

    1. Hi Julie. I offered before we ever got there, but it never seemed to work out for me to watch the kids for them. We barely missed being there at the same time – we went the first week of March. Smart thinking to take an extra piece of luggage!

So simple but sounds so good what a great idea for an afternoon on the patio
