A free Valentine’s Day printable that can be used in your decor year-round.

valentine's day vignette including a framed printablePin One of the easiest, fastest and most inexpensive ways that I know of for adding a special decor touch for any holiday or season is by using a printable.

Before I go on, I want you to know that I’ve teamed up today with two of my blogging friends to bring you a few ideas for other Valentine’s Day crafts. Be sure to scroll down to the bottom of this post to see what they’re sharing!

OK – back to the new printable. I have several different sized frames in my stash that I keep especially for framing printables. I choose the style and size of the frame, based upon where and how I’m going to display it. valentine's day vignette including a framed printablePin Sometimes I’ll add a printable to a grouping on the wall, but I usually prefer to add it to a tabletop frame so that I can include it in a vignette.

I’ve mentioned before that I don’t do a lot of decorating for the annual day of love, so to keep it simple I created a little Valentine’ish vignette on the sideboard in my kitchen.

It’s located in a very visible spot, so the printable, combined with a few faux florals, adds just the right bit of a romantic touch. valentine's day vignette including a framed printablePin Even though I currently have this styled for a Valentine’s Day look, I purposely created this printable so that the colors and the text could be used all year round.

You won’t find any hearts or Valentine’s Day specific colors in the printable, so you can easily tuck it right into your everyday decor! Because you’ll be printing it on printer paper, you may need to trim the edges a little to make it fit into your frame. The black edges that you see below won’t be printed. I’ve added it here to make it easier to see here on the blog.

In the vignette with the printable, you have a silver heart. I love it! Wherever did you find that cute little bauble?

    1. I found it at a local shop well over 10 years ago. I’ve searched and searched for another one like it, but haven’t been successful. 🙁
