My front door has a storm door. Are they totally out of fashion? It is so nice to open the front door and leave the all glass storm door to let the light into my entry hall. Anyone else have this front porch dilemma?

    1. Hi Kathy. I don’t think that storm doors are out of fashion at all! If I didn’t have a front door with so much glass in it already, I would totally have one.

  2. Hi Kathy, Agree 100%. Love opening the Front Door and still have a locked glass door for security, but allowing that gorgeous sunlight to brighten our lives! I am considering hanging a beautiful wreath on the glass door with some type of adhesive hanger. With temperature fluctuations, crossing my fingers the adhesive works! I’ve always hung rather flat items on the wooden door, since the space between wood and glass is rather narrow. Would love to display a big beautiful wreath.

    1. Just fyi – I use a large suction cup on the glass panes on my front door to hang wreaths. Works great and doesn’t fall or slide because of temperature fluctuations. 😀

Thanks for the feedback. I use a magnetic wreath holder on my storm door and have seasonal wreaths hung all year. Right now I have a plain boxwood wreath.

  4. Thank you Suzy and Kathy for both ideas. I would have been Leary to try suction cups as I usually have rotten luck with them. Will give it another try. Have never seen a magnetic wreath holder, will have to look that up. Thank you both!

  5. Great post, I love the small front porch pics, the entry way updates can make a huge difference.
