I just spent the past weekend with my 12 year old granddaughter staying with us, which was such a treat for me. Overnight stays with her sure have changed a lot from even just a year ago. They grow up so fast – right? She’s at the perfect age to enjoy helping me cook, decorate and generally just hang out together. I hope that I was able to sufficiently spoil her before she went back home to mom on Sunday. Wink wink. It’s true what they say though – the days are long, but the years are short.

Love the photo by candle light in the fireplace room……beautiful. I hope you show that kind of photo again in your website…..something about the candle light is great in photo. We see many pictures in websites by daylight, but the evening light was different and showed us what the room can look like at the end of the day. Great idea in photographing that way.
