Of all the things that you can buy for your home at the big box stores, terra cotta pots are one of my favorites. They’re so inexpensive and can be used for oodles of things besides holding plants. Here are 7 of my favorite ways to repurpose these morsels of clay goodness.
TERRA COTTA POT WREATH
A perfect and creative wreath for spring and summer! It could even carry you through the fall by simply changing up the flowers!
Dress up a large terra cotta pot and its drainage tray with some spray paint and twine for a super affordable outdoor accent table. Love this unique idea!
It doesn’t get much simpler than this! I use jute twine a lot. My roll stays stuffed in a catch-all drawer and is usually a tangled up mess. This idea is cute enough to display on a counter or shelf.
DRINK DISPENSER STAND
Whether serving a crowd or just keeping drinks handy for the kiddos, we all love the convenience of a drink dispenser. Instead of purchasing an expensive stand, save money and customize the stand to complement your table by making a stand with a terra cotta pot and drainage tray!
Love the Rae Dunn look, but can’t find it in the stores? Make your own!
Nothing beats the look of stacks and stacks of aged terra cotta pots. Display them on a table, on an open shelf, on a potting bench or anywhere else! This is a rustic cohesive look!
They also make perfect spring decorating accessories!
