In a bowl, mix 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup, 1/2 cup milk, 1 cup frozen peas, 1 cup shredded cheddar, 1/2 cup grated Parmesan, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp pepper. Stir in 2 (5 oz) cans drained tuna and noodles. Pour into dish. Combine 1/2 cup crushed potato chips with 2 tbsp melted butter and sprinkle on top. Bake 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
10. THE LAST WORD: Thanksgiving is late this year, so why not put up your Christmas tree early? Leave it undecorated and enjoy the glow during Thanksgiving dinner.
ANSWER TO #7: The last day Thanksgiving can fall on is November 28th. The birthstones for November are topaz and citrine, and the birth flower is the chrysanthemum.

1. FAVORITE STYLING MOMENT: This week I have all things Thanksgiving on my mind. While this isn’t a “styling moment”, it’s something that has been a HUGE life and mind saver for me on turkey day! And I want to share it with you – for free – no email sign up required. You can thank me later.
2. EASY DECORATING TIP OF THE WEEK: When choosing your holiday color palette, repeat one accent color throughout your holiday décor. Whether it’s a pop of red, a soft blue, or dazzling gold, echo that color in ornaments, pillows, and ribbons.
Why this works:
Repeating a single color unifies your home and makes it feel intentionally decorated. It’s an effortless way to pull your rooms together with ease.
3. DID YOU KNOW: Did you know that slipping a few marshmallows into your brown sugar jar keeps it soft and scoopable for all that holiday baking? It’s kitchen magic at its simplest.
4. FAVORITE RECENT PURCHASE: I was reminded of the importance of carbon monoxide detectors when we recently had a chimney sweep service both fireplaces in our new-to-us home. They are especially important if you have any gas operated devices in your home! This is what I purchased and is the brand that I’ve used before and trust. They simply plug into the wall – no other installation required.
5. LOVELY LIVING AND BEYOND: As you prepare your home for Thanksgiving and Christmas, focus on the people gathered within its walls more than the decorations. A gracious home is one where people feel loved, not one of perfection.
6. READER QUESTION OF THE WEEK: “I love my recliners for comfort, but they aren’t exactly the most stylish pieces. How can I make them look good with my decor? See #10 for the answer!
7. WEEKLY AWESOME FINDS:
- I’ve always been a fan of these dried wheat wreaths. It is perfect to hang over a mirror or to welcome your Thanksgiving guests on the front door.

9. HOME HACK: When it comes to decorating for the holidays, I’ve got a great tip that your future self will thank you for. While you’re pulling out your Christmas décor, take a few extra minutes to add labels to your empty bins. I normally place them all in my Christmas tree storage bags and boxes. When it’s time to pack up in January, you’ll know exactly which container each item belongs in and cleanup will take half the time.
10. ANSWER TO READER QUESTION (#5): The secret is to treat your recliners like any other chair in your room’s design. Start by adding a throw blanket casually draped over the back or arm, and layer in a decorative pillow that ties in with your color scheme. Anchor your recliner by placing it next to a side table with a lamp, or on a rug that connects it to the rest of your furniture. The goal is to make it feel intentional, not like a stand-alone piece. Comfort and style can absolutely coexist!

1. FREE CHRISTMAS ART: I have over 15 Christmas printables that you can print and download for FREE. I updated mine last weekend from the botanical pomegranate print to the evergreen wreath with red bow.
2. COZY TIP OF THE WEEK: Holiday decorating doesn’t have to mean starting from scratch. Just add a bow. Ribbon tied around a lamp, vase, or a framed piece of art instantly feels festive.

- Keep your feet cozy in these lace up faux shearling booties.
- Pair this versatile sweater with a pair of jeans or a skirt.
- You can never have too many of these in your closet during the winter months.
7. MAKE THIS WITH ME: Homemade Christmas tree scent sticks make your home smell like a fresh cut pine tree, without the needles. Just add a few drops of pine, fir, or cedarwood essential oil to cinnamon sticks, let them dry, and tuck them into your faux trees or garlands for that woodsy holiday scent.
8. OVER ON THE ‘GRAM: I shared a simple (and adorable if I do say so myself) idea for your holiday table, mini house shaped butters! I softened butter, pressed it into a gingerbread house silicone mold, and the result was almost too cute to eat.
9. WEEKLY MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE: “Always be on the lookout for the presence of wonder.” ~ E.B. White
10. PLANNING AHEAD TO THE HOLIDAYS: Christmas monster cookies are the perfect make ahead treat. Bake them now, pop in the freezer, and when the holidays roll around you’ll have cookies ready for eating or gifting.
