Welcome to the latest Weekly Wednesday Wishlist, where you’ll find decorating tips, favorite styling moments, gracious living inspiration, and home decor and fashion finds—all meant to help make your home and everyday life feel a little more beautiful and inviting.
This week’s collection is filled with simple ideas that make a big impact. You’ll find a decorating tip for creating a cleaner, more polished look with one statement piece, a fresh kitchen idea that brings beauty and fragrance indoors, and a reminder to find joy in life’s ordinary moments. I’ve also rounded up beautiful home finds, effortless summer style, and a practical answer to a reader question about giving your kitchen a fresh look without the expense of a full renovation.
Even though June flew by in a flash, I hope this week’s Wishlist encourages you to enjoy the simple pleasures of the season and discover a few easy ways to make your home feel fresh, welcoming, and beautifully lived in.

7. MAKE THIS WITH ME: If you’re having people over for the 4th and need some simple and easy last minute decoration ideas, check out these posts:
8. OVER ON THE ‘GRAM: Google reminded me…Christmas is less than 6 months away.
9. WEEKLY MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE: “Be faithful to your own taste, because nothing you really like is ever out of style.” ~Billy Baldwin
10. GET READY FOR THE 4TH: Find something cute to wear to your 4th of July celebrations with Target’s Americana clothing collection. See and shop the pieces I bought, how I styled them, and which ones are worth grabbing to add to your closet.

1. FAVORITE STYLING MOMENT: I am one happy camper that hydrangea season has finally arrived! This simple arrangement in my foyer makes me smile every time I pass by.
2. EASY DECORATING TIP OF THE WEEK: Add one oversized plant or arrangement to a room instead of several small ones. A single statement piece creates more impact and keeps your space from feeling cluttered.
3. DID YOU KNOW: Did you know clipping herbs from your garden or grocery store bundle into a small vase can smell just as lovely as fresh flowers in a kitchen?
4. FAVORITE PURCHASE: I needed blinds for the French doors in my basement and these fit the bill perfectly. Cordless, clean, simple lines, wonderful neutral colors, and a great price.
Find all of my purchased and loved decorating, gadget, and organizing favorites HERE .
5. LOVELY LIVING AND BEYOND: Pick up fresh peaches, a bakery treat, or flowers during your regular grocery run just because. Lovely living often grows from creating joy in ordinary moments instead of waiting for special occasions.

9. CULINARY CORNER: Lemonade Poke Cake- Bake one 8×8 or 9×9 yellow cake. Cool 15 minutes. Mix 6 oz thawed frozen lemonade concentrate with 3/4 cup powdered sugar. Poke holes all over the cake with a fork and loosen the edges with a knife. Pour the lemonade mixture evenly over the cake. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours. Frost with white or lemon frosting and add sprinkles, if desired. Refrigerate until serving.
10. THE LAST WORD: My number one decorating tip is to shop your own home first. Swap pieces from room to room, freshen things up with a little paint or new fabric, and style a new vignette on your dining room table. For even more ideas, visit How To Decorate With What You Already Have.
ANSWER TO #7: Many women are tetrachromats. Due to a genetic mutation on the X chromosome, they can see up to 100 million colors and subtle shades that are invisible to others. Are you one? Women tend to have stronger immunity than men because of an extra X chromosome, which provides a double set of immune-related genes.
