Chinoiserie Christmas Trees

In my humble opinion, chinoiserie and Christmas are a match made in decorating heaven. The timeless combination of blue and white porcelain mixed with festive red and green accents feels both elegant and joyful. These trees show how easy it can be to incorporate chinoiserie into your holiday decorating for a collected, traditional style.

This Christmas tree is full of traditional holiday charm with a chinoiserie twist. The layered plaid ribbon instantly draws the eye and ties together the mix of red, green, and blue ornaments.

Oversized patterned ornaments, touches of greenery, and chinoiserie pieces tucked throughout the branches give it so much depth and personality. Using a blue and white planter as the base grounds the tree beautifully and gives it a designer look and feel.

The tree brings the same timeless mix into the main living space for a look that feels cozy and inviting. The rich tartan ribbon winds through the branches alongside chinoiserie ornaments, shiny red and green balls, and a few special pieces that make the tree feel personal.

The blue and white accents throughout the room carry the theme beyond the tree, creating a coordinated and cheerful space that still feels lived-in and welcoming.

Together, these chinoiserie trees show how beautifully this classic style pairs with the season’s traditional colors. Blue and white porcelain pieces add a fresh contrast to the warmth of red and green, while the layered ribbon and carefully chosen ornaments make each tree feel collected over time.

It’s a look that works beautifully year after year, no matter your decorating style.

Traditional Christmas Trees

There’s something so comforting about a traditional Christmas tree. Red, green, and gold will never go out of style, and when layered thoughtfully, these classic colors can feel both nostalgic and fresh at the same time.

These trees show how easy it is to honor the beauty of tradition while still giving your holiday decor an updated, designer touch.

Oversized ornaments and shiny baubles make the tree feel full and lush, creating that gathered-over-time look. Every detail, from the gold accents to the coordinating wrap on the gifts beneath, captures the joyful spirit of the season.

A red and white tree is always a classic, and this one strikes the perfect balance between traditional and cheerful.

The flocked branches provide a snowy backdrop for candy cane–striped ribbon, bright red ornaments, and crisp white accents. Pops of natural texture and playful details, like snowflakes and cardinals, make it feel festive without being fussy. It’s a fun take on traditional holiday decorating.

Traditional trees will always have a place in Christmas decorating because they remind us of what the season is all about… warmth, joy, and the feeling of home. Whether you favor rich red and green tones or a lighter red and white palette, these trees show that classic Christmas style never loses its charm.

Blue and White Christmas Trees

Blue and white Christmas trees have a timeless appeal that feels fresh year after year. Whether paired with classic red for a cheerful look or softened with neutrals for a serene setting, this color combination brings sophistication and versatility to any space.

These two trees show how easily blue and white can be styled to fit different moods. One is vibrant and playful and the other is soft and refined.

  1. It’s hard to choose a favorite among so many gorgeous designs. Certainly the blue and white chinoiserie with greens and red are classic and so Ralph Lauren on trend this year. But that is long standing tradition in our home I guess because I am old. My trees never look like this and never will but I enjoy looking at perfection 😉. Did you do these trees yourself?

    1. Thank you! Yes, I did them myself. It takes me several days though and I often move things around before I’m completely done.
